Michael has been working on dentistry-related legal matters since 1993:
 
·        Minnesota Attorney General’s Office.  For over six-and-one-half years, Michael gained significant experience representing Minnesota health boards—including the Minnesota Board of Dentistry—as an attorney in the Attorney General’s Office.  In addition to providing general legal advice to the boards, Michael handled hundreds of professional disciplinary cases, involving such issues as incompetent care, record-keeping deficiencies, chemical dependency, mental illness, sexual misconduct, and fraudulent billing.  In addition, Michael gained substantial experience in litigation, mediation, professional firms, and privacy issues.
 
·        Weber Law Office.  Since 2000, Michael has been representing dentists and dental practices through Weber Law Office.  As of 2008, Michael Weber has handled over 150 healthcare-related legal matters through Weber Law Office.  Nearly one-fifth of Michael’s healthcare cases have involved the dental profession.
 
Michael's experience—first working for the State of Minnesota and then representing clients in his own private practice—has provided him with an excellent background to tackle the legal issues facing the dental profession.  Besides Michael’s knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, Michael offers his clients the invaluable, practical insight he has gained through working with government regulators, representing numerous dental professionals and their practices, and litigating a broad range of healthcare cases.
